Goodbye to The Restless Wind Ranch:
I'm sick about having to sell the ranch but I'm very pleased with the buyers. Dan & Barbara Hillsman purchased a large portion. They are great folks and seem to already love the land. They are naturalists, bird watchers and new to ranching. I wish them the best and look forward to having them as neighbors.
Billy Welkener also purchased a large portion. He and Marie are good friends of Priscilla and mine. Billy has partnered with me on many deals through the years. He and I had the high selling bull at the San Antonio Rose Classic in February.
Life goes on. I hope I have a chance to buy The Restless Wind back in the future. For now I just wish Billy, Marie, Dan & Barbara the best. Although I have no idea where the future will lead me I'll accept whatever comes as God's will.
I'll forever miss my Restless Wind Ranch days but thank God for the brief adventure.
